The Bavarian Beer Garden Band is the premier Oktoberfest Band in the Pacific Northwest! It is a 5 piece group consisting of an accordion, sax, electric guitar, bass and drums.

Every BBGB performance is exciting and includes a mix of Alpine traditional polkas and waltzes, beer songs, pop rock and roll, classic country and R&B. You never know what they might play next!

Performing on FESTIVAL STAGES throughout the region since 2015, BBGB brings the fun to your event! BBGB performs all year long with their high season in September and October for Oktoberfest celebrations.

SECTION ONE — BBGB OKTOBERFEST FESTIVAL STAGES

BBGB has played on Oktoberfest Festival Stages throughout the Pacific Northwest! Locations include: Kenmore, Oktoberfest Northwest (Puyallup), Leavenworth, Kirkland, Spokane, Portland, Arlington, Cle Elum, Edmonds, Remlinger Farms (Carnation), Emerald Downs Racetrack, Elks Temple Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, Orting Eagles and Belfair.

SECTION TWO — THE PRIVATE AND CORPORATE PARTIES!

BBGB PARTIES are LEGENDARY! From private block parties to private golf and yacht clubs to private individuals to large Corporate entities, BBGB brings the fun! BBGB is highly interactive with audiences and creates memories that will last a lifetime! Many of our clients repeat year after year.

SECTION THREE — THE BEER HALLS

Since 2016, BBGB has performed at the World Famous Queen Anne Beerhall! Over the years we’ve had legendary nights partying with the Beerhall audience!

Last year Moss Bay Hall opened in Kirkland. We rocked the hall with an epic Oktoberfest evening!

One Thursday each September, Old Stove Brewing Ship Canal hosts a ROCKIN’ OKTOBERFEST Celebration!

Who knew Thursday could be so hot! Old Stove rocks it!

SECTION FOUR — MEET BBGB! THE PLAYERS!

Accordionist Greg Perry founded the Bavarian Beer Garden Band in 2015. He has assembled some of the best artists in their respective instruments to create the distinctive BBGB sound! We have had many people hear us play from afar only to say they immediately recognize our signature sound.

Greg is an accomplished player and is comfortable in many musical genres. He also supports BBGB vocals in both lead and back up roles.

When on stage, Greg literally doesn’t know what he’ll do next and audiences are delighted and surprised with the legendary BBGB shenanigans!

Fritz Whitney joined BBGB in 2022 and is an outstanding musician, bringing his ‘A’ game to every show. Born in New Orleans and raised in Seattle, music has taken Fritz to all corners of the globe.

He has been fortunate to have played behind many award winning and chart topping artists from soul, r&b, rock, jazz, classical, Latin and Broadway, including several different inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

Equally comfortable in a jazz club, symphony hall, or theater pit, Fritz especially enjoys playing “Happy Music for Happy People!” Nobody has more fun on stage than Fritz!

Fritz supports BBGB with both lead and back up vocals and unique musical arrangements..

Chris James is one of those rare ‘born in Washington’ species and has spent the last 40 years trying to figure out the bass (averaging one decade per string!). Now playing exclusively fretless bass, Chris started with rock and blues, fiddled a bit with funk, and eventually settled on jazz. And what do you do after jazz? Polka, of course!

Chris is a talented vocalist singing both lead and backup roles. He really brings our classic country pieces to life with great lead vocals. .

CD Woodbury has transformed himself from journeyman sideman and “the NW’s best kept secret” into an internationally recognized rising star of the Pacific NW blues scene with his work as singer, songwriter, guitarist.

C.D. Woodbury has performed in Texas Roadhouses and in Stadiums. He has performed for two US Presidents, foreign and foreign dignitaries.

CD is a wizard on the guitar and supports BBGB with outstanding lead and back up vocals.

In 2022, CD was inducted into the NW Blues Society Hall of Fame.

Tommy Cook grew up in Alaska and moved to Seattle during the grunge explosion of the 1990s. He began touring internationally in 2008 and was twice awarded the Blues Drummer Award by the Washington Blues Society (2017, 2019). Tommy is an active recording studio drummer, and his most recent albums have received international radio play and hit the top 10 on the national Roots Music Report blues rock charts.

Tommy keeps the group together with a strong, steady beat. Occasionally we let him loose to unleash his amazing talents from his library of various rhythms. the BBGB stage!
